Livin' it up. Sort of.
Once Clair is gone Grey wastes no time finding his feet. The going is painfully slow but eventually he figures out how to walk. He makes his way slooowly to the bathroom.

Grey manages to brush his teeth, shower, change his clothes, and change the gauze pad on his arm. And it only takes him a few hours! But by the end... he's noticing that things are getting easier. That he can feel again. Just a little. Pressure here... a pin-prick of pain there (ribs, agh, he's been moving too erratically).

He's noticed that there is a pen and a journal on the desk... but he highly doubts he'll be able to manage writing quite yet. Not easily anyway. Instead he finds an easy snack in the kitchenette and then... well why not? He checks the door. And is rather surprised to find it open.

He stands there for a moment. Why would it be open? Was it purposeful? A slip of the mind? Was she toying with him....?

....He quietly slips out.
Current Mood: Cautious.

Grey is set off balance by this seeing as he was still rocking a bit, but he regains it quickly enough as she tugs him down to see. He pulls away quickly however, more out of habit now than actual displeasure.

"It's just hair!" He says cheerily. "Grows back you know."

She lets him go. "He never leaves my things alone. Little idiot."

Grey grins. "I'm a thing now?"

"Well, my property, anyway." She tips her head in the direction of his rooms. "And that's enough running around unsupervised."
Dr. Grey: Here kitty kitty kitty...grey_matter on September 24th, 2007 04:59 am (UTC)
"Hm!" Seems to be the only comment he has to being called someone's property at the moment. "I'm not a kid, I'd imagine I'd do just fine unsupervised!" But he's moving in the direction of his room now. He can't be asked to complain really. S'all good y'know.

She doesn't even seem to realize she's without the giant arms, bossing him around the exact same way.

"This time, the door'll be locked. Get some sleep, watch some TV. I'll run tests in the morning on why the drug half-lifed out so quickly. It shouldn't have done that."
Dr. Grey: Science wins!grey_matter on September 24th, 2007 05:13 am (UTC)
He waves his hand a bit. "Of course it'll be locked. You won't forget this time." He laughs. "But I'm not tired, so I suppose I'll watch TV. You know normally I hate TV..." He pauses to think about that a moment. TV was full of stupidity. But... oh well! Wait, what's this about tests?

"Tests?" Did she mean she was going to dose him with that awful numbing stuff again? ..... "Alright!" Somehow it doesn't seem so bad anymore. Oh... :O He should write in that journal now that he can feel again :D

Clair smiles and shakes her head at him, and nudges him inside.

"G'wan. I'll see you in the morning."
Dr. Grey: Sink.grey_matter on September 24th, 2007 05:18 am (UTC)
Grey is nudged! He'll wander inside then like a good little lab rat. He gives a bit of a wave over his shoulder. "Night then!"
Ockette: Mad Scientistockette on September 24th, 2007 05:20 am (UTC)
Heh. "Good night, Doctor Grey. Good work, sleep well, I'll most likely kill you in the morning."

And the door shuts and locks with a snickt.
