Livin' it up. Sort of.
Once Clair is gone Grey wastes no time finding his feet. The going is painfully slow but eventually he figures out how to walk. He makes his way slooowly to the bathroom.

Grey manages to brush his teeth, shower, change his clothes, and change the gauze pad on his arm. And it only takes him a few hours! But by the end... he's noticing that things are getting easier. That he can feel again. Just a little. Pressure here... a pin-prick of pain there (ribs, agh, he's been moving too erratically).

He's noticed that there is a pen and a journal on the desk... but he highly doubts he'll be able to manage writing quite yet. Not easily anyway. Instead he finds an easy snack in the kitchenette and then... well why not? He checks the door. And is rather surprised to find it open.

He stands there for a moment. Why would it be open? Was it purposeful? A slip of the mind? Was she toying with him....?

....He quietly slips out.

Current Mood: Cautious.

Grey snickers. "You might."

"Quite some interesting things in here." He gestures idly. He's making conversation you see.

"I don't see what's so funny about this," Octavius observes, looking at Grey in the same manner as one looks at a genetically-engineered quasi-canine yapping from the confines of a brainbleached twentysomething socialite's overpriced handbag.
Dr. Grey: Self destruct?grey_matter on September 14th, 2007 05:36 am (UTC)
"Really? That's a shame." Grey's expression darkens a bit. And from there degrades to that of complete stoicism. He shrugs.

Lovely. Mood swings. Octavius wonders idly if Clair has factored this in. Or if she's caused it. At any rate, his wife's lab rat's obvious bipolar disorder isn't worth his time and he turns to leave. The place has gone a bit too quiet. That is never good with a 100-pound puppy and a mysterypus on the loose.

Grey is surprised to see the man simply turn and walk away. He was free after all. Loose test subjects were never a good thing in his experience.

He just watches the man leave with the same near, robotic emotionlessness gracing his features. Ah, well. He'll have to continue his search for a PINpoint. And other interesting tidbits of *SCIENCE!*

Well... There's a half-assembled thingee over here, now that the lights are on. Dozens of little servos, and a strange assortment of tiny hydraulics are scattered over a table. Grey, of course, has no way of knowing that it's going to be a toy for Angie. Clair has no engineering skill to speak of, but she knows how to assemble the premade parts.

Ohh, a thingee! Grey wanders over to investigate it. Hm. Indeed he has no idea it's going to be a toy. In fact he has no idea what it's destined to be. Shame.

Hm. Now, where else could he look for a PINpoint? And did he really want to?
