It's early in the morning. And someone is sneaking into the bedroom. That someone appears to be carrying an armful of something. He silently slides up to the bed where an individual of a Clair-like nature is still sleeping, enjoying a rare lie-in.

A beat.

Then floomp! The figure drops his armload onto Clair, which turns out to be a pile of these.

"Good morning!"

It's really, truly amazing how many of those can be carried in an actuator. It takes a minute for small, sputtering Clair to dig herself out, half-awake and ready to fight the army of tribbles that apparently have just attacked her.

Oh. It's.... a swarm of plush diseases.

...

...

...!

"Ebola!"
darkoctavius: Ooooctooopuuuusdarkoctavius on April 8th, 2007 11:02 pm (UTC)
He snerks at that. Clair's the only person in the world who'd be excited to see ebola. Sitting next to her, Otto picks up a round blue thing and beeps Clair's nose with it.

"Happy Easter. Have some fuzz."
Ockette: Mad Scientistockette on April 8th, 2007 11:40 pm (UTC)
Oh, surely not the only person. She does have alternates.

"They're adorable, Otto." Mmm, bacterial snuggles.
darkoctavius: smiledarkoctavius on April 8th, 2007 11:51 pm (UTC)
Mmm, Clair snuggles.

"I saw them in the Nexus and had to get some for you. And Angie. And since Ester's apparently the holiday of Gifting Cute Things..." He picks up a plush tapeworm and looks at it.
Ockette: Mad Scientistockette on April 8th, 2007 11:54 pm (UTC)
"Usually, that means bunnies and small chickens." Says the grown woman snuggling a paramecium.
darkoctavius: smiledarkoctavius on April 8th, 2007 11:56 pm (UTC)
"I ask you, when's the last time we did anything conventional?" He places a yeast on her head.
Ockette: GRINockette on April 9th, 2007 12:00 am (UTC)
She throws the common cold at him. "I love you."
darkoctavius: smiledarkoctavius on April 9th, 2007 12:04 am (UTC)
Snerk. "And I love you." He tosses another ebola at her.
mark_i_am: Foxmark_i_am on April 9th, 2007 03:37 am (UTC)
"Oh Doctors Octopuuuuuus..." is heard from far down the hall.

Followed by "Oh hi Nova down Nova down no ack Nova don't ack ow bad ow ack hehehehe..."
Ockette: GRINockette on April 9th, 2007 03:39 am (UTC)
Aaaaaaand Clair's laughing, struggling to get out of the huge pile of fuzzy death.

"Nova, come here, girl! Hello, Mark!"
darkoctavius: octocrackdarkoctavius on April 9th, 2007 03:43 am (UTC)
"Hullo, Mark." Otto is sitting on the bed next to the huge pile of fuzzy death. He stuffs a mono down Clair's shirt.
mark_i_ammark_i_am on April 9th, 2007 03:45 am (UTC)
Mark is up as quickly as he was down, attempting to gather various bags into some sort of order after the tornado that is Nova has been reined in.

"Happy Easter, Clair! I thought that this lonely lab out here in its own lonely universe could use some tacky Earth fun."

He has a couple Easter baskets with plastic eggs in them, each filled with jellybeans. Also there are a couple chocolate bunnies and a very very soft stuffed rabbit with a silky ribbon for Angie.
Ockette: Mad Scientistockette on April 9th, 2007 03:48 am (UTC)
Clair is trying to get mono out of her shirt, while remaining decent. :o

"Thank you, Mark, that's fantastic." Grin, and she flings something green and fluffy at him. "Catch! Hee, you've got smallpox."
darkoctavius: smiledarkoctavius on April 9th, 2007 03:51 am (UTC)
Otto will help!

They're both festooned with plushy virii and snerking themselves red in the face. Not terribly different from most holiday mornings around here, just without the virii.
mark_i_am: Foxmark_i_am on April 9th, 2007 03:52 am (UTC)
Mark catches the green fluffy thing and stares into its beady eyes. "Gee, thanks...I suppose the vaccine is just as cute?"
Ockette: Mad Scientistockette on April 9th, 2007 04:14 am (UTC)
"Oh, I don't know if I have a vaccine in here..." Rummage rummage. "Otto woke me up with these."
darkoctavius: Ooooctooopuuuusdarkoctavius on April 9th, 2007 04:17 am (UTC)
Otto rummages as well. "Well, there's a pink spirochete... and ... a thing with a tail ... a thing with a lot of tails... a paramecium ... Heh. A book worm...."
mark_i_ammark_i_am on April 9th, 2007 04:32 am (UTC)
"A book worm? I thought they were just a myth or something."
Ockette: GRINockette on April 9th, 2007 04:59 am (UTC)
"I think this one's an ulcer. Eeew."
